Jon Bennett brings extensive experience in executive search across venture, private equity, and public companies.  He possesses a deep understanding of several industries including security, technology, telecom, professional services, and consumer packaged goods.  He has particularly strong experience with the key leadership positions of companies: CEO, CRO, CFO, Managing Director, and Independent Board Director.

Jon is a founder and partner at Roar Group. Roar Group is a retained executive search firm with extensive experience discovering and assessing C-Suite candidates for Private Equity and Venture Capital firms.  Prior to founding Roar Group, he spent over five years at several executive search firms and within a venture capital fund. In addition to his search work, Jon has negotiated complex cross-fund contracts and helped structure mutually beneficial executive compensation packages.

 

Fundamentally, executive search is a collaborative process based on understanding the business’ needs and wants.  Jon’s focus is unique in its flexibility and continual reassessment of need.  Roles are constantly evolving, and these traits smooth the search process and ensure the candidates best aligned with business needs are hired.  

 

Jon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.  He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
